Dr. Lucia Varela - IPM Advisor, North Coast

 The IPM program works with the agricultural industry in the research and implementation of alternative pest control methods, in order to decrease the use of pesticides. Currently, IPM research is investigating the control of codling moth, and pest management systems for wine grapes, apples, and pears.
